Jacana Supervision and Consultancy offers external supervision for social workers and human service workers, as well as consultancy services for community organisations and government.

Vicki Carrick is a community development and social worker with over 25 years of experience in the child protection and human services sectors.

Vicki is passionate about providing strengths-based supervision to workers. She believes that external supervision offers a unique opportunity to critically and holistically reflect on practice.

Drawing on her experience in working in both client-facing and leadership roles, Vicki offers a range of consultancy services, including:

  • Organisational development, including strategic planning

  • Foster and kinship care assessment reports

  • Development and delivery of specific training for human service and social workers

Vicki is located in Brisbane (Meanjin), Queensland, and offers individual and group supervision and consultancy services in person across Brisbane and remotely across Australia.
